Our Story
Throughout my life, I have dealt with drugs and alcohol in others.
I have lost my mother and my daughter. I have spent years researching, thinking and feeling the pain. I have examined the ins and outs, due to life experience and formerly having worked in drug rehab.
Trust and believe me, we all feel that no one could possibly feel as we each individually do, when we lose a loved one to addiction.
It's true, each loss is different, but that stairway to heaven they chose....... The basics were the same.
I am here to tell you that the grief is indescribable, but manageable.
I am here to speak to your group or school. I am here to help.
My daughter and I had a 24 year struggle in her addiction. We cannot or could not FIX our addicts, but we loved them.
Now that they have passed, we have to learn to live without them. It is possible!
